July 14, 2011: Learned that we would not be able to adopt Baby M because her referral was given to another family who adopted her half-sister two years earlier.
June 13, 2011: assigned a court date of July 14
May 19, 2011: found out that our case has been submitted to court
April 4, 2011: Received renewed I-171H
March 14, 2011: We got our referral for Baby M!
March 4, 2011: Re-fingerprinted for USCIS
March 2, 2011: Learned of Baby #2's death.
Feb. 18, 2011: We got our 2nd referral!
Jan 24, 2011: Mailed request for re-fingerprinting to USCIS
Nov. 14, 2010: Lost our referral for Baby D.

Aug. 12, 2009: FBI fingerprints done
June 14, 2009: Found out that our formal application had been approved
June 9, 2009: Submitted formal application to our agency
Feb. 10, 2009: Submitted preliminary application with our agency to see what countries we would qualify for, and we found out the next day that Ethiopia was a good option for us.
Jan. 22, 2009: Attended an informational seminar on adoption held by the agency we were thinking about working with.
Jan. 18, 2009: attended a Sanctity of Life Service at our church & picked up some pamphlets from an adoption agency.
