We went the see the Lady Tigers play Tennessee a couple of weeks ago. It was our first LSU basketball game. Here are a few pictures. This one is Mike the Tiger in his new habitat right by the stadium.
This is a picture of the half time entertainment. It was pretty impressive. The girl was on a really tall unicycle and she balanced bowls on her head.
One thing I like about LSU sporting events is that you can get better snacks than your standard ball park food, like hot dogs and nachos. During the game I got a shrimp poboy, and they also had jambalaya and grilled chicken sandwiches. I wish the vendors would serve fried gator when LSU plays Florida, but that may fringe on bad sportsmanship?
LSU lost, but it was a close game.
A couple of Saturdays ago we went to LSU to see the new tiger. James had seen him a number of times, but I hadn't gotten the chance to visit him. He's about 3 years old I think, and he's pretty active. He was pacing back and forth the whole time we were there.
We had some difficulty getting the dogs to pose by the tiger statue. Daisy, who is usually rather brave, was scared of it. She barked at it, and she didn't want to walk up to it or sit next to it.
Friday James got his masters degree from LSU. He didn't want to walk in the ceremony, so we celebrated at here at home with his brother and his wife. We had homemade pizza for dinner Friday, and Saturday morning James made French Toast for breakfast. These are a couple of pictures of a cake I made for him. 
Saturday night the four of us went out to eat at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. It was delicious and the service was top rate. It was the first time James and I had eaten there.
